Deportation Day Happenings
I received an email that Rachel sent at just before 11am.
Transportation were coming to take her at 11am, presumably from the detention centre that she was at overnight to the airport. This means her “detention phone” was taken from her and she will now be without communication to the outside world.
She will ask the UK “border force” part of Home Office for permission to access her sealed luggage and her British phone when she gets to the airport. These things never seem to go without a hitch and if she does not get access then she will be without communication until she is in the US if not intercepted by traffickers.
She was meant to have had her nurse's medical exit assessment and a Doctors appointment at 9:20am. She had not been given that yet by 11.00. This appointment /appointments I think was when she was going to emphasise her medical conditions that she believed meant she it would be dangerous for her to fly.
Her solicitors had started to work on her case, albeit much too late. They advised her that even if removal directions get stopped, it can take a while for it to be communicated /cleared down the chain of command. So Rachel may end up put on the plane, but they cannot close the doors if her asylum case is reinstated and still open. If they take Rachel wrongfully / unlawfully, they have to put her on the next flight back.
If she is taken to the US, she will only have a British phone, no US sim card and presumably no / difficult means to put credit on it.
“They've just called me to office, I have to log offline now.” she said…
I have not heard from her by this time.

15:50 “She’s in a van near the plane. She’s been immobilised with a belt tightly around her waist. (for her safety, haha). She is distressed, nauseous and in pain. She asked for water but they have none to give her. Inhumane!”
This is how Britain treats a victim of human trafficking, who would be triggered by being tied up… Shame on you

Prayers for Rachel 🙏! It sounds like she is definitely trafficked.. by the "system". She would probably get better treatment by the "other side". Jesus be with Rachel and deliver her safe with her story to tell. Amen
