I reproduce part of Svali’s post - the Jesuit 12 year old ceremony. The reason I do this is that many people have no idea of the scale of the child sacrifices that people in the system make or are forced to make. If they do not make them then they themselves are killed.

I hope this stuff isn't true, but I'm afraid it is. By any chance, did the time of this horrific ceremony coincide with the dedication of the LDS Rome temple? There must be some reason why President Nelson was so complementary of such a wicked man.
There is a question of timing as to when you 'have to face up to this evil'. For most young people, they are programmed to prioritise breeding over sainthood, so they will not expose themselves to darkness that makes their will to live compromised. Once you have grown up children, it is far, far easier to face up to dark realities.
