UK Government Overreach and Censorship - Brand
UK Government is attempting to crack down on people using social media. Caroline Dinenage, the Chair of the UK Government Culture, Media and Sport Committee has been emailing various social media outlets asking for information about Russell Brand, in a barely veiled attempt to censor him.
Be clear, I have no time for Brand, I believe he is controlled opposition and I have put a detailed Russell Brand disclaimer in Appendix 2 at the end, so that those issues do not distract from the issues of censorship and Government overreach.
Even if guilty of crimes, no one should have government leaning on social media outlets to give them information, demonetise and censor individuals, even more so on the basis of allegations and tv programmes with nothing having been tested in court. It is rapidly moving towards a social credit score type situation.
The power that Caroline Dinenage and the committee is trying to wield will clearly be used to censor those of us who tell truths about issues on covid, vaccination, climate, child abuse, mind control, family courts, migration, chemtrails / geoengineering, trans, racial divide etc etc.
I would also have thought that the requests themselves were against current Data Protection legislation, but of course I am not a lawyer.
Caroline Dinenage is known to have written letters to Tik Tok, Rumble, Facebook /Meta and the BBC. It is uncertain whether Google’s decision to demonetise Brand on Youtube was due to a letter from Dinenage. The following letter is to Chris Pavlovski, CEO of Rumble.
Rumble have told them to think again. Rumbles reply and letters to Tik Tok, Facebook / Meta, the BBC and now more are in Appendix 1.
The committee appears to be flexing their new power in light of the passing of the draconian and deliberately misnamed Online Safety Act.

It turns out that the craze for censorship runs in the family. Her husband, Baron Mark Lancaster, worked for the 77th Brigade from 2018-2020. The 77th is a secretive, unaccountable intelligence operation on social media, which amongst other things spied on posts critical of the covid vaccine.

The Baroness, ie Caroline Dinenage, has a conflict of interest as in June she has received tickets for Glastonbury worth over £3000 from Google.
These people are so greedy and so contemptuous of us that they flaunt conflicts of interest in our faces whilst censoring us.
Oh, it gets worse - Caroline Dinenage was the one who pioneered the Online Safety Bill that she herself is now implementing. She got “honoured” for that, becoming a Dame, Honour for campaigning MP who pioneered Online Safety Bill [11].
It has become increasingly clear to many that our elected representatives including Rishi Sunak, Prime Minister who incidentally was unelected by the public or MP’s are just patsies of the World Economic Forum WEF. The governments are infiltrated with the globalist representatives of the WEF and carry out WEF agendas regardless of any perceived democratic role or supposed allegiance to the voters or people in the country.

Social media shut many of us up during Covidmania, suppressing the truth whilst WEF / WHO lies were allowed unabated and unchallenged whilst a completely unnecessary vaccine was allowed emergency authorisation, without proper testing. We must not let this censorship happen again.

It gets worse, the last Chair of the Culture, Media and Sport committee, Julian Knight, had to resign due to sexual misconduct allegations from nine different women. 2023 Apr 28 Guardian MP Julian Knight faces new misconduct allegations [16], 2023 Jul 10 Politico Senior MP Julian Knight accused of sexually harassing young women [17]. They need to investigate themselves before investigating anyone else.
Also introduced in the last few years, we cannot even now find out when or which MP’s the Commons Standards Committee is investigating. They are power crazed and hide relevant information about themselves but want masses of information about us and want us silenced.
Furthermore the Westminster child abuse network was never properly investigated - a media psyop was instigated and one person was discredited, from which all the allegations were lumped in with this and overlooked.
The Online Safety Bill is bad enough you should be aware of something more nefarious coming down the line. Whilst The Online Safety Bill is bad enough you should be aware of something more nefarious coming down the line.
The government is looking to update the Investigatory Powers Act 2016 (unaffectionately called the snoopers’ charter).
On 5 June 2023, the Home Office opened an eight-week consultation as regards this.
The act in its current form gives the government the ability to ‘snoop’ on our emails, calls, texts, internet history, and location data – whether or not we are suspected of any wrongdoing.
It also requires web and phone companies to retain customers’ information for 12 months – and provide security services, official agencies, and the police with unprecedented access to this data.
Further, it enables government agencies to hack into the British public’s personal devices – their phones, computers, and tablets – without any criminal intent suspected. On top of this, the hacking is not necessarily performed in a targeted way that singles out specific offenders, but in bulk – applied to huge numbers of UK residents, at any given time.
The consultation is now closed but sought comments on bringing the Acts powers in line with technology advancements. In short the proposed updates are a bid to extend the Acts already far-reaching remit because the intention is to demand that companies offering messaging services seek government approval around the messaging tools’ security features.
The proposed updates would come into force immediately, if approved, and would allow the Home Office to block or disable messaging apps’ security features – without having to let us know. Once a messaging app receives a demand from the Home Office, it would need to be actioned immediately, without allowing time for review or appeal.
The proposed changes would also enable Ofcom to force messaging companies to scan messages.
The consultation ended on 31 July 2023 and we cannot find any update - yet. But we believe it's coming and we should therefore gear up to oppose the changes that the government are attempting to bring in.
These changes, along with The Online Safety Bill represent a massive threat and encroachment to our right to privacy, and march us ever closer to a digital gulag.
