Lara Logan put it well recently when she said… “Stop Paying the People Who Are Slitting Your Throats. Stop using Facebook, stop using Twitter, stop using Instagram, stop using YouTube” If you use them, they make money from you using them. How can you claim to be against them but still help them destroy us and the planet?
Cool! Interesting stuff. My feeling is that, as the Mucketies have their own Internet, so will little Internets begin springing up in response to all this hypersecurity bs -- What I love about humans is how we run up against a wall, and we do it a few times, swearing, just to make sure there's no mistake that we're knocking our brains out on it, and then we just figure out another way, and go around it. ^_^ The big fear that these mucketies are going to take over the world and chip us all and we'll be zombie half-human slaves is pretty scary stuff... but soooo unlikely to ever really happen, very much anyway.
