Introduction
It’s very sad when anyone looks to have committed suicide. Jason RIP.
I had been following the case recently and keeping a file of the articles links, essentially a collection of links, for reasons I give in the following comment. This is the file copied onto substack, with the usual errors that happen when different platforms treat links differently. I have not tidied that up. I post this as the links might be useful for others. It’s not the time to give my opinion.

The reasons that this Jason Arday case is important in my opinion are at least three fold. Firstly the whole area of academic standards and how they have been usurped not only by “peer review”, corporations and journals but by DEI policy. It shines a light on them also, now this has been found out and widespread, they are still doubling down.
Secondly it raises the question about this individual being a dark personality / narcisissist / psychopath. The way he tells outrageous lies is very similar to the individual in the survivor community that I have been investigating for years now. He provides a catalogue of examples of exactly how brazen they are.
Thirdly he is now being defended by Carter Ruck the most notorious libel lawyers who suppress free speech. Lawyers are an important factor also in silencing survivors and I have [had] a tussle with them a few years ago which I have not written about yet in which I had to withdraw an article.

This is the most important aspect: Jason Arday committed scientific fraud. He must go. And so must the leaders at Cambridge who support him after it is revealed that he has committed fraud. There is a history of fake suicides, after the war, lots of people appeared to go away, but they did not die as we were told. I am always suspect over suicides. Has anyone considered it may be more than just a simple suicide?
